I spent the day at the summer flower show at Chatsworth House, camera in hand, watching people go about their day. My focus wasn’t on the floral displays, but on the quieter, more ordinary moments — conversations over tea, the shuffle of feet on the lawns, the way sunlight fell on faces as people paused to take it all in.
In black and white, the colour of the blooms fades, leaving behind the rhythm of a summer afternoon — simple, human, and familiar. The Flower Show is less about the spectacle and more about the beauty of the everyday.
